Privacy Policy

The short version

Mike is a brand deal agent that works by text, run by Visuals of Earth. We collect what Mike needs to find brands and write your pitches. We do not sell your information, and Mike never sends an email for you.

What we collect

Signup: your phone number, the exact consent wording you agreed to, when you agreed, and the page you used.

Messages: what you send Mike and what Mike sends back, so a conversation can carry on across days.

Your creator profile: the socials, niche, style, audience, past deals, rates, dream brands and goals you share in chat.

Your work with Mike: brand lists, the brand contacts Mike finds for you, your pitches, and follow up dates.

Gmail connection: if you connect Gmail, your Gmail address and the access tokens Google gives us.

Technical data: a scrambled version of your IP address, used only to stop abuse of the signup form.

How we use it

We use your information to run Mike for you: to answer you, find brands that fit, write pitches and follow ups in your voice, create Gmail drafts, and send you reminders. We also use it to keep the service safe and to fix problems.

Texts and WhatsApp

If you sign up or text Mike, we will message you by SMS or WhatsApp. That includes replies, plus messages Mike starts himself, such as a morning prompt, follow up reminders and post campaign check ins. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP at any time and Mike stops messaging you. Reply START to come back, or HELP for help.

Mobile numbers and text consent are never sold, and are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Gmail

Connecting Gmail is your choice. Mike asks Google for one permission, gmail.compose, and uses it to create drafts in your account and to check whether a draft Mike made is still waiting. You read each draft and decide what to send. Mike never sends email for you and does not read your inbox.

Your Gmail tokens are encrypted when stored. To disconnect, tell Mike to disconnect Gmail and your tokens are deleted. You can also remove access any time from your Google Account permissions page.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

Instagram

Mike does not log in to your Instagram account. You share your handle or links in chat, and Mike uses those and other public information to understand your content and find brands. Mike cannot see your private messages, private insights or any ad account, and Mike never posts for you.

If we add an Instagram connection later, we will tell you what it reads and ask you first.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run Mike: a messaging provider to deliver texts and WhatsApp messages, an AI provider that processes your chats and profile to write replies and pitches, a hosting provider, and a business contact data provider that receives brand names, not your details. Google receives draft content if you connect Gmail.

They may use your information only to provide those services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect people from harm.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your information while you use Mike. To have it deleted, email hello@visualsofearth.com and tell us the phone number you used. We will delete your profile, messages, pitches and Gmail tokens within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep something longer. Replying STOP ends messages but does not delete your data.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to see, correct or move your information, or to object to how we use it. Email us and we will help.

Age and changes

Mike is for people 18 and over. If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update this page and tell you by message.
